Chris Osgood paints landscapes with vigorous brushwork as he establishes light, shape, space, and movement. Whether in the colors of the coast, or in his black and white ink on paper abstractions, his love of his subject comes through. His solo shows include the Caldbeck Gallery, Husson College in Bangor, ME, Lewiston-Auburn College, U. of Southern Maine, and Walnut Hill School of Arts in Natick, MA. He has been in a long list of group shows in Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland and Washington D.C. His work is in the book The Art of Maine in Winter, by Carl Little, and was reviewed in Art New England.
