On October 18, at 12 noon, Stew Henderson of Northport will give a talk about his work on exhibit at the Caldbeck Gallery. The public is welcome and invited to learn about the 3 distinct bodies of work which the artist created over the past 2 years: The Maps, Paper Circus, and The Corrugated Series. Henderson will talk about the origins of these colorful works as well as discuss how he made them and how they fit into his life’s work as an artist. The talk will last for about 45 minutes, followed by any questions from the audience. |
| August 22, 2007 |
Special premiere viewing of the film "Lois Dodd: Maine Master" at the Farnsworth Art Museum. Two showings at 6pm and 7pm. A reception at the Caldbeck Gallery will follow the showings. Copies of the film in DVD format will be available for purchase at the gallery and a silent auction for an original Lois Dodd drawing will be held to benefit the Maine Masters Project.
