Caldbeck is delighted to present new work by Anna Dibble in a two-person show with Katherine Bradford. The exhibition will run from August 1 – 31, 2025.

About the work in the show Dibble writes, “Figures alone or together, diving, traveling in boats, about to jump, or maybe not, moving forward or standing still, swimming, slow dancing, pondering. There are some lonesome houses nearby, but these creatures, human and wild, live in an untamed world. Bodies of water, erratic weather, day and night skies, moon, clouds, trees, sun, mountains, stars. So many blues, and darks, lights of colors. These beings are us, and yet they are certainly apart from us. These places feel recognizable, even welcoming in a strange way, but they also are not really in our world. The paintings’ colorful accessibility is a kind of trickster. And that makes us look further, and wonder and feel curious when looking at them.

Brian Eno said ‘Art is how adults play’. Dibble and Bradford are wide open to play, and to the peculiar idea of hope.”
